BRINGING POSITIVE CHANGE TO OUR COMMUNITY

Carolyn Daniels - California State Assembly District 44

“I am a wife and a mother. I’m an independent contractor who has watched our elected officials burn this beautiful state into the ground. I’ve watched my friends and neighbors pack up their memories to follow their dreams out of state. We can’t afford to retire here. Our kids can’t afford to settle down here. We don’t need more government handouts. We need common sense, accountability, and leaders who won’t punish us for trying to make a living. I can’t afford to watch from the sidelines any longer. That’s why I’m running for State Assembly.”

Alex Villanueva - Los Angeles County Sheriff

MEET ALEX VILLANUEVA

Sheriff Alex Villanueva is a 36-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the first challenger in over a century to unseat an incumbent Sheriff when he was elected as the 33rd Sheriff of Los Angeles County in 2018.

He commanded the largest sheriff’s department in the nation, overseeing nearly 18,000 sworn and professional staff and managing complex public safety operations in one of the most diverse counties in America.

Throughout his career, Sheriff Villanueva has been recognized for leading with integrity, fostering internal reform, and building trust with the communities he served. As Sheriff, he prioritized transparency and accessibility, holding town halls across the county and launching public-facing tools to ensure accountability.

Under his leadership, the Department saw significant progress in recruitment and retention—reversing historic staffing shortages and strengthening the foundation of public safety. He hired 1,100 deputies in his first year in office and converted a long-standing political patronage system into a merit-based system.

Tonia Arey - Los Angeles County Supervisor

Meet Tonia: A lifelong community member committed to responsible leadership and real accountability.

The Pacific Palisades fire and its aftermath were a breaking point for me, not just because of the devastation, but because of the irresponsible and negligent way it was handled. There was no real accountability. No plan for the surrounding communities. And no urgency from those in power.

Malibu’s businesses are still struggling to recover. Our beaches remain contaminated, strewn with harmful debris. And Calabasas has been turned into a dumping ground for toxic and hazardous waste.

This didn’t happen by accident; it was allowed to happen. Worse, it was voted on and approved by our current District Supervisor, who had the authority to challenge it and instead did nothing.

With the support of a committed campaign team and a clear vision for responsible, community-focused leadership, I am fully committed to this journey. I’m running for LA County Supervisor, District 3, because our communities deserve better, and I’m ready to fight for it.

Kristina Irwin - L. A. Community College District

Kristina Irwin: Candidate for Los Angeles Community College District - Board of Trustees, Seat 2

A Stronger Future for our Community Colleges.

Kristina Irwin is a Los Angeles professional, businesswoman, and community advocate. She brings the habits of real work—listening, following through, and keeping commitments—to public service.

She believes the Board should be independent, practical, and focused on students: colleges that are safe, accountable, and affordable, with pathways into careers that strengthen families and the region.

Experience grounded in work, community, and common sense.

Communities deserve better, and I’m ready to fight for it.
